Soulemama Led us to this tutorial Stacking Fabric Tree

I didn't set out looking for a fire place when we were house searching last spring. I now have a bit of a love hate relationship with it. I love the convenience of warmth and how pretty the flame it. I hate that it is in the corner and uses up valuable space and the mantle is only good to hold a TV. Anything else causes clutter to build.

Now that I am finished my bit of a rant. Here are the first decorations added to said Mantle. I will post pics once I have the stocking made. Hopefully this weekend.
