Superbowl Eve

It is like the night before Christmas around here.  At least for Dave anyways.

This year we are having a Turkey.  Just because.

TO DO List

• Turkey in the roster on low - Check
• Brussel Sprouts - Check
• Stuffing made and in the bird - Check
• Carrot and Corn Curry dish - Check
• Mashed potatoes - Check
• Projector hooked up and tested - Check
• (We will be watching the game in HD on the front window)
• The kids are nestled snug in their bed - Check
• (we have Curtis for the night)             
• Clean the toysplosion - Check

Dave and I have never cooked a Turkey Dinner before.  Stuffing the bird was pretty funny.  While in the midst of turkey slime.(I hate raw poultry).  Some guy knocked on the door (11:30pm).  They could see the TV through our windows and asked if we could put the hockey highlights on. Well that was a first.  By the time I washed the slime, got my coat and Camera the highlights were over.

Anyway, I am off to bed.
