Emma Tunic

I have been getting some knitting done in my spare time.  Most knitting happens with babe in arms these days.  I saw this little Tunic over at Soulemama during the summer.  I knit up two this past month one for little Laura Rachael's daughter and one for Marlo.  This little tunic is called an Emma Tunic.  You can get the pattern over at Pulling at Strings if you are interested in making it yourself.   There are a few cute patterns I heart for over there like These Bloomers.  I love making little things they knit up so fast.

Knitting for Baby

I have been just as busy over the last 9 months getting some knitting done.

I have been collecting patterns over the years and am very happy to finally be able to use some of them.  I have many more I plan to knit over the years and can't wait to do so.  Link to Patterns are in the titlles.

This is a creation of my own.  It is a sleep sack.

There are are several other things I have made that I will show you over time as she actually wears them.

Skull Caps

I have made a dozen of this hat in the last month.  I have two left for sale.  They have been added to Loopeeeee Design Shop

There are two sizes left.  Children's 4-6 and Children's 8 - teen.  If you are interested and are in the KW Area I can deliver before Christmas.

I am slowly adding items to the Design Shop.  I still need to adjust the add to cart button to include the shipping rate.  Slowly but surely.  I will get there.

Baby Goodness

I brought my knitting down to Jamaica on the off chance I would get a chance to knit. The running total of baby gifts needed is five in the next four months. I have decided to give fully handmade gifts. In all gifts will go a Cotton Baby Hat. (Surprise Surprise).
It turned out I had a lot of time to knit. I managed to get two made for gifts here in Canada and I got two of the hats above made.
This is a new design for me I created on the fly. There were two waitresses in the buffet area that were having babies. Being that it is warm/hot down there I had to think of a way to put less cotton and ventilation in them. This is what I came up with. I think I will continue to make this hat I really like it and it is even quicker to make. There is just a bit more counting.
I have never made anything with a lace stitch or this many holes. My inspiration was the dishcloth pattern and a bit of hit and miss. I need to figure out how to either line up the holes or stagger them. One row lined up the other was staggered. If I ever get a chance to do this I may even post my first pattern.
One can wish can't they.
