Things Happen in Three

So they say that things happen in three.  Since My Nonno has passed we have been wondering who would be the third death.

This morning we woke up to discover that Petunia/Pickles had passed away through out the night.  She/He didn't seem sick.  From what we can gather it may have been the thunder storm last night.  Not sure if this can actually happen or not.

Otis is very sad today.  he really wants another rabbit.  we will have to see what is in the cards for us next.

RIP Petunia Picklebottom.

Petunia Picklebottom

Look who joined our Family.  She is two years old and was in need of a home.  She has been here just over an hour and is  really relaxed.  Her old owners could not keep her any longer for whatever reason.  She has spent the last week and a half in an apartment by herself.  They would just go over to feed her.  Right now she is loving the attention.

Pigeon & Squirel

A few nights back this little chipmunk was in our house. Hampton brought him in and Dave eventually got him out through the door in the Blue/Craft/Spare Room Door.

It was a very chaotic event.

Dave called to say he needed help. I was useless as Otis was attached to me panicking about the chipmunk. He has become afraid of them as we have had to separate Hampton and said Chipmunk three times now.

Dave first got Hampton into the basement. It was time to get the chipmunk. We found him under Otis' Potty. Dave moved the potty and the chipmunk charged up the steps at Otis and I. Otis climbed up me and the Chipmunk hid behind me. Dave ran after it and it went into the Blue Room. Thank Goodness, things could have went way worse. We have a door out to the rooftop patio in the blue room.

Dave closed the bedroom door and opened the outside door. Once the chipmunk realised there was an exit it was all good. There was definitely some shuffling to get him out but not nearly what it could have been.

This reminded me of the time we had a pigeon in the house. Way back in 1996 I lived with 4 girls. My Roommate Kelly and I came home one day to see a pigeon on the porch. We walked by and opened the front door to get inside the house and the pigeon followed. He wandered around awhile and then left. So strange.

Sex Change

Hampton is a Girl.

Earlier this week I had said to Dave. I think Hampton is a girl. He in turn felt around and said "nope there are boy parts"

Last night I was lying on the couch Hampton Jumped up on me. I said " I think Hampton is a girl" Jasmine assessed the situation and confirmed my thought He/She is a girl. We are not going to change her name.

She is almost 4 months old and has been going outside. With our luck there would be 6 kittens.

Time will tell.

Here Kitty Kitty Kitty

It has been a sad week around here. Last weekend We celebrated our first Christmas of the season. We were away for a few days, when we got home we realized Qbert wasn't around.

Turns out he must of got out when we left, his food had not been touched. We have searched everywhere for him. Good news is he has not been added to the Humane Society's DOA board. Dave has files a report about our missing cat and I have been calling to see if there has been any changes.

We live in an apartment and in order for him to get out he had to travel through three doors. I have knocked on every door in the building and no one Even saw him. This is very strange being Qbert usually hides when people are around and he never leaves the apartment.

From what we can gather he is either taken up residence at a new home that doesn't have an eight month old terrorizing him or he went off to die. Either way we miss him a lot and hope he comes home.
