Trick or Treat

We made it up and the street. We did skip a few houses, not many though. Otis liked the idea of getting candy.

He did so well he said "trick or treat and thank-you to every house. I wasn't sure if he would get it but he did.

We met up with his friend Noah who lives on the street and that is when he really got the idea and went from house to house.

The only candy he had to open on the spot was a candy bracelet. By the time we got home he had finished it.

Otis got a whole lot of candy for only going to approx. 15 houses. Now that it is over he doesn't even remember he has a large bowl of candy waiting for him. The best part is that Dave said he would not eat his Halloween candy and he was the first in the bowl picking things out. I have put it away for now. we will see how long it takes either of the boys to figure out that it is there.

We had bought enough candy for 150 kids, in the end we were giving out handfuls. we may have had 50 trick or treaters.

Hampton had a lot of fun he travelled up the street with us. He also discovered climbing a tree.

I went out today to scoop up some of the Halloween decor deals to be found. Not much left but I did get a couple little things.
