Petunia - is a boy

So it turns out after three years Ms. Picklebottom is now a boy.  The previous owners did not believe us when we told them.  Due to the recent discovery Petunia for the most part is called Pickles.

Quote from Otis telling Nona about this "Nona, Petunia was a girl but now she is a boy"  How confusing is that for a kid?

We also discovered the Pickles doesn't like to have his cage by the fireplace.  It was there for almost a week and he didn't leave the cage.  We moved the cage back to under the window and He has been running around the living room for the last 3 hours.
