I am now a proud partner of Bailey's Local Foods. Nina Bailey-Dick is the founder of Baileys. She has decided to leave Bailey's Local Foods to find more balance and time with her family. Rachael has opened her arms and welcomed me and my sometimes off the wall ideas. I have spent the past 6 months learning the ropes and getting to know many of the local farmers and producers. I have also had the pleasure of meeting so many people from our community on the pick up days. I look forward to meeting so many more.
If you see me on pick up day please stop by and introduce yourself. I know most of your names already through book keeping and would love to put faces to them.
Speaking of local food, here is our dinner tonight. Almost everything in this stir-fry is local. If I had to I could probably tell you which farm each vegetable came from. I love having this Supper Power. I have had the pleasure of taste testing the Tamari sauce for a couple of months now. I think I like it more then the soy sauce. The only ingredients which were not local was the rice wine & green curry paste. I really miss the curry paste that Meals that Heals used to make. I mean Green Table Foods.
